The Pinewood Fire Department Auxiliary

The Auxiliary meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the fire station. These meetings are directed by the Auxiliary Board of five members elected annually for a two-year term.

We begin with a potluck meal. We believe the community-building aspect of sharing a meal around a table is invaluable to assisting us in accomplishing our mission. Then, we take care of Auxiliary business with the rest of the time we have.

We also raise money in a variety of ways. Among them, we host a golf tournament at the Pinewood Country Club, Sell T-shirts, and much more.

The Public is always welcome so plan to be there by 6:00 and see what it’s all about!

Golf Tournament

Every September we host one of the largest Charity Golf Outings for Munds Park. You do not need to be a member of the Country Club to participate and information starts coming out around Memorial Day

Visit With Santa

The first week of December we host Santa and his helpers at the Fire Department. We encourage all families in Munds Park to register when the information comes out!

Halloween Trunk or Treat

Every Halloween we hold a Trunk or Treat event for the entire community. We have volunteers that setup in the Pinewood Country Club parking lot with vehicles decorated and handing out candy

Community Safety Day

It’s a great event the firefighters hold each year that we help support. They show us many ways to stay safe in a variety of dangerous situations that can save lives and are always well-attended.

4th Of July Parade

We support the Pinewood HOA in their efforts to put on an amazing parade every year. This parade is one of the annual highlights in Munds Park and always draws a large crowd.

Tee Shirt Sales

Tee shirt sales usually start right after Memorial Day and run through Labor Day. 100% of the profit from the shirt sales goes directly to the Pinewood Fire Department and helps support a variety of efforts.
